I think I found two reasons why I eventually drift out of fandoms. 1) I get bored, either the subject of interest stopped doing anything interesting (Slam Dunk) or the fans are no longer doing anything note worthy (Naruto) or 2) there's no way I match the original creator's flare for storytelling or they're just far, far over my head (Bleach).

As I haven't gotten too far into FMA, I think I'm safe for a while :P (until someone tells me i completely and utterly suck at these characterizations and should either stop or die)

But, because I’m starting to get my drabble collection going again (after virus thoroughly destroyed my computer about a week earlier), and my cold or whatever has lifted enough for me to properly think again, I’m just gonna toss this one out there. I am a HavocxHawkeye fan. I’ve only seen 4 volumes of the manga and 20 some odd episodes, but I still like them together, dammit!

Okay, so it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been accused of having a sick, demented mind. Whenever I watch the first couple flashback episodes (and a couple others later in the series) in FMA I always get the same sort of feeling about Ed: he has low self-esteem and he has a bit of an Oedipus complex. The reason why I say this? Because he hates his father. He’s always been told how great he is, just like his father was, that he inherited his skill from his father. And because he hates that his father hurt his mother and that it hurt because their mother liked the fact he and Al could do alchemy because it reminded her of their father.

I am sick. I am already aware of this. Thank you :P
