Okay, so I meant to do this MONTHS ago, but life happened, then finals happened, then unwinding from all that happened, then friends not seeing me all semester happened and then me wrestling with paypal and my bank and all that set up happened but I'm FINALLY opening up commissions. It will work as thus:

You can leave me a screened comment in the entry or a message through lj (or a note on dA for those of you with accounts) asking for either a pencil sketch or a pen drawing. If you have neither a dA or lj account, I hope you feel comfortable enough to leave your email on an anonymous and screened comment so I can get in contact with you.

Prices:

$3 per character for a pencil sketch

I WILL NOT DO:

Character designs- existing designs only. If you have an OC you want me to draw, give me sketches and I'll work from that. DO NOT give me a word description only and expect me to make them up myself

Colored commissions- I have not yet found a coloring style I like that doesn't consume a lot of time. I'm including flat coloring because it's easier saying no to all than picking and choosing terminology.

Backgrounds- IF there is a background, it'll be extremely simple to merely depict a ground plane or something similar. Otherwise I'll lose entire days researching even something as simple as 'generic skyscraper'.

I also reserve the right to reject subject matters if I don't feel comfortable doing them. If I turn down a request, I have no problem working with the commissioner to find another subject we're both happy with.

Also if you want me to draw a character who you've never seen me draw/talk about/are worried if I've ever heard of them before, if you find me good pics of them, I'm sure I can draw them for you.

YOU WILL GET:

a high-res copy with which you can do as you will (coloring, turn into icons, post places, etc) so long as you credit me as the original artist and not sell it around. Unless you say otherwise, I reserve the right to put a low-res and watermarked version on dA or elsewhere.

I will contact you with payment information (paypal) when I'm ready to take on your commission. Commissions will be done in the (approximate) order that I receive them. I will attempt to keep a list of the current five people whose requests I'm working on.

One of the more interesting parts from the Marvel UK part of the comics, I thought. The long and short of it? Springer, leader of the Autobot Wreckers, and Carnivac (he's a pretender and his protective shell is made to resemble a wolf but he really is a robot underneath), leader of the Decepticon Mayhems, end up fighting together against a greater evil, come to respect each other as fighters and eventually befriend one another.

So I was trying to get proficient in using my new markers and trying to find a way to blend marker and colored pencil. That was about a week before I moved so I didn't get much experimenting done, but at least I have an idea on the exact colors I want to use for the three main characters. And then, for a while, my scanner wouldn't work, and then, after it worked enough to scan things in, I moved. So now it's all being put up now.

Well, Tripod manages to still have something useful for me. Let's see how long I'll be keeping this up, huh? Anyway, got my sketch challenge thing going now and I'm starting it off with my song series that I've got a nicely sizeable list to. These, actually, have all been done in the passed two weeks which shows how much work we've been doing because of the painting they're doing at my shop.

Here's the photo album or whatever called Idiosynthesize so you'll know it's part of the same challenge thingy. And I may be uncreative with titles. Shut up.

First off is Sol from Guilty Gear to Queen's Keep Yourself Alive, which is the title of Sol's theme so of course I had to do it^^ I got the effects for this picture by, literally, stumbling on them. I didn't plan it like this, hell, I didn't envision it to end up like this at ALL, but I like it. So I'm keeping it^^
