I don't like the idea that RvB seems to be leaning toward in that CT joined Project Freelancer with the intent on betraying it since the beginning, but that doesn't mean I can't work with it.

Title: Archetypes
Fandom: Red vs Blue
Rating: G
Word Count: 209
Characters: CT, references to Freelancers and Insurrectionists
Summary: Because I'm apparently assigning personalities to the Insurrectionists despite knowing they'll show up later this season.

People aren't complicated. )

In my head, Tex is kind of passive-aggressive with the Director. She's aware that she's an AI based on the memory of a lost love and she despises being a replacement and the idea that she has to fit the Director's expectations. She does as he says, however, because she enjoys her job and also because she has an agenda to rescue Alpha. The passive-aggressive part comes from the fact she undermines the Director's authority over her; not enough to make him suspect her loyalty, but enough for him to know his 'power' over her is an illusion.

In short, Tex can be as manipulative as the Director. And I also think she enjoys trolling Carolina but that's something else entirely.

Title: The Unfair Sex
Fandom: Red vs Blue
Rating: PG-13 for lots of mentions of sleeping around
Word Count: 643
Characters: Tex, Director, mentions of other Freelancers
Summary: To Tex, sex was just another way to rebel against the Director.

No one ever noticed that she took all of them in some variation of the same way. )

As much as I'm loving all these ideas I've been getting for Project Freelancer stuff, I'd like it if I could work on the ideas I originally had instead of kicking out these random things that come to me first thing in the morning.

I also may end up grouping all these ideas into one cohesive 'verse that I've got going on since I don't season 10 is going to end up Jossing a lot of the stuff I plan on writing anyway.

Title: Chimera
Fandom: Red vs Blue
Rating: PG
Word count: 752
Characters: The Director with mentions of various Freelancers and AI
Summary: The Director contemplates his pieces before the most important phase begins.

After so long his work was finally coming to fruition. )

This is just stupidity, plain and simple though there's a potential for a far less dumb sequel. I've always loved York since the Out of Mind mini-series for the simple fact he's the first and just about only person to snark at Tex and not get threatened/beaten for it. And then comes season 9 and he's like that to everybody and my love for him grows.

I have a feeling I need to find an active rvb comm to post these things at...

Title: Blessed is the Peacekeeper
Fandom: Red vs Blue
Rating: PG
Word Count: 318
Characters: North, Wash, York with Carolina and Tex in the background
Summary: ... for he apparently has to babysit a team of ultra-competitive psychos.

Guess I'll do it. Again. )
