So, in a fit of me needing to keep my mind off things that are making me stress the hell out, I'm putting this up for... pretty much just today. You can challenge as many times as you like, just please keep it to three prompts per comment.
You can ask for anything you see in my interests on my profile page. For the most part. If you challenge me for some series I haven't looked into in ages, I may have to decline on account of alzheimer's.

They used to watch the fireworks as children, having stolen up ontop a temple's roof, munching on fresh plums their quick little fingers rolled into the folds of their clothes earlier that day.
Hitsugaya, Momo + candy
Hitsugaya always had the habit of ignoring personal ailments in favor of keeping on top of work so when he started coughing and his face became flush, Hinamori gave him a small tin of cold medicine and told him it was candy (which he believed until he actually put on in his mouth).
Mercy Street
Hisagi, Rangiku + the past
He hurt a lot of people in the past and never tried to explain to anyone why he did it- even now, years later, if his name came up a lot of people would crack their knuckles angrily (Rangiku, though, would frown and look away and when she fisted her hands it wasn't out of anger, but to keep the loneliness at bay).

The end of the street wars should've made everything better, should've restored everyone's faith in their neighbors and their communities, but as she watch Retsu run herself into the ground, trying to keep her family together, her children together, herself together, Rangiku didn't have the courage to ask the older woman to do the same for her.
Tetsu, Rangiku + storm
Rangiku never cried in front of others- always did it in the rain or in the shower where no one could see her -but Tetsu always seem to know when she did, pulling her out of the storm and into his protective embrace.
Ikkaku, Rangiku + trust
She couldn't see his face as he pressed his ear to her belly, hand warm against the swell, but she could hear it in his voice when he said he wanted to be a part of the baby's life that the trust between them had never truly gone away.
