It's been almost a month but Metal still likes coming out on the porch to look at where Skull Fortress had once been- seems almost a lifetime ago.

Rock slides back the glass doors, staying inside even as he says, "Metal, you should-"

"Do you remember?" The Robot Master asks quietly. "When we fought all those years ago?"

"....yeah. I do."

"I'm sorry for it."

Rock smiles sadly at Metal's back. "I know. I forgive you."

I totally blame that dumb RO crossover idea I had. *liking Rock and Metal as a couple* Granted, I first hinted at it in EC... xX

Elec/Metal, "it sounds like"

We should try to collab again sometime TT

Metal: You suck too much. Who'd want to with you?

Sleepy as he is, Metal is still batting away at wandering hands. "Stop that." He breathes. Elec's head on Metal's shoulder pouts at the annoyed profile.

For a moment Metal thinks he's finally able to sleep but then Elec's voice asks urgently, "Hey! Did you heard that?"

Brow furrowing more, Metal doesn't open his eyes as he asks, "Hear what?"

"That! It sounds like... like..."

"Like what?"

"Like you saying yes!"

"Elec, would you stop- oooooooooooh~"
