Jul. 12th, 2004 10:28 amBecause of 'rith's work and a short little RuHana fic done by my old friend JJ, this stupid little thing came alone :P
Title: Peaches
Series: DC Comics(Green Lantern/Green Arrow)
Rating: PG
Word Count: 371
Character: Kyle Raynor and Connor Hawke (GL and GA respectively)
Summary: Ways to get healthy food into your junk-fed lover
He was sitting on the floor in front of the couch when Kyle walked in, apparently eating something with a vaguely sweet fragrance.
“Hey, Conn.” He said, shifting his backpack on his shoulder.
“Oh, Kyle.” The multi-racial archer called back, not entirely turning from the book that sat on the coffee table before him. “How was the shopping?”
“Fine, fine. Got all the paints and pencils I’ll be needing for the next two years. What’re you eating?” He asked, tossing the bag away. It always riled Connor how Kyle would just throw things aside instead of putting them away. Kyle didn’t understand what the big deal was, just so long as it was out of his way…
“Peaches. Want one?”
The dark haired man wrinkled his nose at the sliced fruit. “No thanks. Don’t like peaches.” He retreated to the kitchen to grab a beer. He paused when the fridge door opened. “I didn’t know I /owned/ any natural foods.”
“My mother took me out to the market earlier, picked up some fresh fruits and vegetables.” He wagged a dark finger at the other’s back. “And no, I will never get off your case about your eating habits.”
Kyle re-entered the front room with a snort. “First it’s always having to clean up the house, then it's to make sure I get enough air and light in here. Now it’s food.” He plopped on the couch behind Connor, nuzzling the blonde head with a grin. “Geez, what next? How I shower?”
“I would, but you’d like that too much.” He replied with an equally evil grin before pulling Kyle down for a breath-stealing kiss. “Not that the idea isn’t /all/ unappealing.”
There was a pause before Kyle reached forward, took up a fruit slice and pushed it into Conner’s surprised mouth.
“!!” He chewed and swallowed the piece and turned to the artist, about to ask about the action before something else invaded his mouth.
Connor huffed for breath when Kyle’s tongue returned back to its rightful owner and gave him a curious look, a faint flush across his cheeks.
“I changed my mind.” Kyle said, reaching for another bit of fruit and holding it before the other. “I like peaches.”
