Even this far into the tournament, he still had a secret weapon. Not even all that secret, but no one else was smart enough to discover it. But it was there and if he couldn’t find a way with Sena’s legs or the line’s strength or the fucking monkey and fucking show off’s skills or his own guile, he still had one more ace to fall back on.

So while the rest of the team rested and stretched during breaks, Hiruma would go to the bench, all sweat and heat and determination.

“So what’d ya get for me, fucking manager?”
