Summary: You’re so cute when your heart is broken
Akamaru was still a puppy and Kiba was just rowdy so both were always ready to play. So when Kiba bounced down streets with Akamaru yapping after him he didn’t expect to lose Akamaru on a sharp turn. Something went CRASH followed by two distinct yelps.
Kiba looked around and saw Akamaru nudging Chouji’s hand. Chouji, sprawled on the ground, looked mournfully at a spilt triple sundae. He looked up at Kiba, not the least bit accusatory, just very, very miserable.
Kiba sighed, helped him to his feet and dusted him off. “C’mon.” He said. “I’ll buy you another one.”
