Summary: I sat down next to a living hell
Neji didn’t say anything, he didn’t have to. He just watched quietly as Ten Ten wandered sort of vaguely over and plopped numbly down beside him. She sat, teetering somewhere between mortified and shell shocked. In the distance Gai-sensei and Lee were proclaiming all sorts of dutiful promises of making sure Ten Ten’s feminine sanctity would remain uncorrupted until her womanhood came into full blossom.
That was when Neji felt it prudent to say: “That’s why I refused to let them meet my family.”
Ten Ten’s head dropped into her hands, wishing that her new teacher and teammate would die.
