Summary: Sorry for the delay. Actually forgot about this for a bit^^;; But Snake cooks and Crystal… is Crystal.
“Snake~!”
Gritting his teeth, Snake attempted to ignore the singsong voice in favor of work.
“Snake!”
Work, he told himself, that was important.
“SnakeSnakeSnakeSnakeSnake!”
That HAD to get done NOW-
“SnakeSnakeSnakeSnakeSnakeSnakeSnakeSnakeSnakeSnakeSnakeSnakeSnakSnakeSnakeSna-“
Which WOULDN’T get done unless someone’s boyfriend wouldn’t SHUT THE-
“What. Crystal.” Snake gritted out. Mustn’t loose temper. Getting laid is good.
Two bright eyes peered up at him from where Crystal was crouched down at desk level.
“Will you bake me a cake?”
Snake’s teeth clenched together slightly. “Can’t it wait until later? I need to get these reports done.”
Crystal pouted. “But I want you to make a cake!”
“Later, Crystal.”
“PLEASE?”
Snake groaned to himself. He had just been subjected to his two greatest weaknesses in the world: cooking something and Crystal’s puppy eyes.
Will, he thought to himself, don’t give out on me now! “All right, all right.” Stupid will.
An hour later Snake was still found over his half-finished reports, looking over the last one he had just finished.
“Snake~!”
Closing his eyes and resisting a sigh, he figured he might as well get this over with NOW instead of prolonging the delay.
“Yes, Crystal?”
The other robot practically leapt in his lap with the cake in his hands, sloppily plastered with icing. “Here! It’s for you!”
Snake blinked in surprise. “Er, what?”
“For the whatever special thingy I might miss.” Crystal said matter-of-factly. “That way, if you get upset I missed something special I can tell you I made you a cake for it once!” Crystal thought for a second. “Or at least I iced you a cake. You made it, but you know. It’s the thought that counts.”
Snake took the cake in his hands and didn’t even attempt to fight the smile on his face. The thought the counts, huh? Whoever came up with that stupid saying…
Laughing, he wrapped Crystal in a hug.
Well, maybe they were on to something.
