I love Tatsuki and Orihime. And I love them as a couple. Why I never do anything with them, I'll never know.....

hyourinmaru
Summary: Takes place after the entire brother/Hollow thing in volume 1.
Orihime hadn’t planned on going to her brother’s grave until next month but something compelled her. She was glad that Tatsuki offered to go with her, it was somehow strange and joyous at once taking her best friend to her brother’s marker for the first time. Together they cleaned off the settled dirt and prayed before it. Then they sat and talked.
At first Tatsuki thought it was strange watching Orihime talking to the grave, but it was just something she would do, laughing at words only she could hear and blushing at the teasing of an older brother only she had known.
“I wish you could’ve met him.” Orihime suddenly said. “He would’ve liked you, I know.”
Tatsuki smiled. “That’s good. I already like him.” She said, stretching her long arms. “It’s because of him you are who you are. He’s a good person and I’m grateful he was there for you.”
Orihime hugged her knees in response. “I didn’t know how I could’ve lived without oniichan. When you came, I thought he might’ve sent you to look after me.”
With a boyish grin, Tatsuki pulled her friend into an one-armed hug. “Maybe he did. Maybe he can rest a bit easier knowing I’ll protect you for him.”
Her heart spreading warmth, Orihime leaned her head against Tatsuki’s shoulder. She loved Tatsuki, just as she did Ichigo and all her friends. But no matter how many friends she had or how much she loved, her brother was always deep in her heart.
