You know how you know you need to wake up? When the first thing you think in the mornings is this.

Carolina can't find the room to make a break for it- the female Insurrectionist is almost as fast as she is and her defense is even tighter, but putting distance between them means she's in range of the Insurrectionist's partner's shotgun. It was, if she were to be honest, extremely annoying because she needed this data back at the Mother for decryption now.

She blocks a kick-punch combo when a voice in her ear says tersely, "/Comin' in low./" Carolina caught the female with a choke strike and focused all her strength in her legs, flipping herself high into the air above shotgun shots and into the back of a jeep that crashed into the heavily armored Insurrectionist.

There was the sound of squealing tires and changing gears and just as the Insurrectionist wobbly got back on his feet, the jeep slammed into him again. Another quick gear change and Carolina and the data were being carted safely off.

"Hit me with a jeep." York muttered darkly. "Asshole."

Carolina, on the mounted gunner position, just laughed.
