Summary: Because I wanted something fluffy. And because people's opinions on my sleep habits fall into two categories: I curl up in a little ball, or I'm violent.
One thing that Ted has learned about Booster (which was simultaneously surprising and not) is that, no matter when or what had happened the previous night, they will always wake up the same way. Specifically, Ted will wake up with Booster utterly wrapped around him. His face will be pressed into the crook of Ted's neck with one of Ted's arms under his body while one of Booster's arms pinned the other to Ted's side. One leg would be kicked across Ted's waist, hooking around the outside of his thigh, the other would be twinned with Ted's all the way at the ankle. It was cozy and comfortable and after the initial claustrophobia he got in the beginning of their relationship, Ted has come to love waking up that way, even in the summer when it would rightly be too damn hot to snuggle.
(Booster, of course, never tells Ted that the reason why he's taken to playing human boa constrictor is because if he doesn't, Ted will- and has -smack him in the face, kick him in the sides or outright knock him off the bed in his sleep.)
