It was small and wooden with lost of little feet that kicked wildly in the air and apparently had very strong (jaws? lid? those were denta of some sort, weren't they?) something that clamped onto one of Vortex's blades, prompting him to flail in frantic pain going, "Getitoff getitoff Primusinasmelter, whatthehellisit????"

Whirl turned to give her an uncharacteristic look of fury as Callsign babbled at his shoulder, switching languages unchecked. Fallout waved a hand, not even attempting to hide her smug grin, "Right, advanced warning- forgot."

Ted stretched his head back, panting, trying to keep focused on Booster. His eyes snapped open wide and he grabbed Booster's hair, not noticing how sharply he pulled- all his attention was on the confused little face looking at them from over the back of the couch asking, "Are you making me a little brother?"

Steph just rolled her eyes, slapping the plastic gun into Damian's hand as Tim pushed him into the blacklit room, "You will learn to have fun, Damian. Even if I have to kill you."

Michelle had always been generic- by the time she was born, so many genetic deficiencies had been engineered out and all the heroes Michael knew now were all so confident and larger-than-life which just enhanced their already perfect features. That was why, when a bartender said he was asked to give a drink to the most beautiful woman in the bar, she looked over her shoulder to see who had sat next to her.

Happiness, Skeets decided as he quietly made his way out of the room Booster and Rip were arguing, was someone else having to deal with Booster for a while.

Sometimes it was hard to tell when Dinah was making angry threats and when she was making sexy promises and when Ollie told her so, she leaned in close and said, "Maybe it's both."

She will tell him- absolutely one day she'll tell him that, after Power Girl had found him tied up in his office and half dead, Barbara had taken the liberty of installing cameras in his office and apartment.

(Though, with the way Ted's eyes flickered directly at where the camera in his bedroom was hidden, licked his lips and stroked himself so unabashedly, she was pretty sure Ted both knew and didn't care.)

Death listened to the young man going on about how inconvenient his passing on was and now how everything he had done was going to be utterly messed up and went into considerable detail as to what mess would be made- Death eventually felt the need to break in with, PARDON ME, BUT YOU WOULDN'T HAPPEN TO BE AN AUDITOR, WOULD YOU?

Jazz didn't know who looked more shocked- Tamaki or Sideswipe -as Haruhi declined them for a ride in favor of going over to Bluestreak. Jazz couldn't help parroting back at Sideswipe, "You've got a hot, sleek red Lamborghini- what else could you possibly need to pick up girls?"

Mori watching the two caped figures slinging away between the buildings, seemingly not noticing that his arm was outside the window and that he was holding his cousin over twenty stories from the ground, or the grapple cable that led from Hunny's hands to the roof- Mori merely said, "No, Mitsukuni."

Broadside was rather impressed at how fast Sandstorm and Xantium disappeared over the horizon, but Springer looked a cross between annoyed and a little hurt as he lowered the octopus the two of them had caught, "Man- what's their problem?"

Dancing was different in the Land of Summoned Monsters- one didn't dance with their body, but with their spirit, with their hearts and their blood and the way they let magic crackle over their skin and connect them to the entirety of the world.

The world above was so vastly different from the Land of Summoned Monsters that, even though Rydia had grown so much older she still felt very much a child compared to everyone that lived in the sunlight; which probably worked out in it's own odd way as Edge rarely acted his age anyway.
