Starscream had come to expect nothing but utter weirdness from Skywarp and had tuned out the processor-freezing song (if Thundercracker's horrifically stupified expression was anything to go off of) until, "I'll teach your grandmother to suck eggs? What is WRONG with humans??"

Metal shook his head at Crash's naivety, saying blandly, "The cake is a lie."

To which Quick added with a bright grin and an arm around the other two bioroid's shoulders, "And yet it still tastes so good!"

It wasn't hard to understand Wreckers, really- if someone had something another wanted, why ask when they could pounce and wrestle that thing away? What they didn't get was why everyone else thought those scuffles were serious.

Ichigo hadn't realized how stressed this entire Arrancar business had made him until he realized he was glad to have his father trying to dropkick him for a greeting.

the seekers fic - shear genius. i wasn't not expecting such awesomeness when i requested that prompt. truly genius.

Robin is one of those characters that I usually have a problem getting into the head of, but the beauty of things like these is that it's much easier to get one sentence that really rings true to the character than a full-on drabble.

That convo between Iba and Ikkaku, btw, was wonderful. I wasn't certain how to take Ikkaku's defeat until that conversation came up and it was just so spot on. Definitely a wonderful moment imho.
