surefall
It was as easy as it ever was creeping though Wily’s Fortress, though there was a close call with some new sensors as he strode deeper into its heart. Normally he’d scoff at what he was about to do, but circumstance told him different. With the Robot Masters running rampant he needed to ensure the future of robots.
Blues had tooled around with minor program changed to a bioroid’s neuronet before, had studied all the plans and equations both Wily and Light so kindly set up to ‘let’ him steal. But to do such major changes on a reploid- whose circuitry and general make-up was so far different from bioroids –was a challenge.
The thought made him smirk. He wondered what Wily would do if he found out Blues had destroyed his final weapon. That thought nearly made him chuckle.
In the quiet he worked, typing, double-checking his work, re-typing and pausing to ensure his work was perfect: flawless coding encrypted flawlessly into programming already settled in. He even threw in the occasional dab of corrosion to simulate bit rot.
Tampering so beautiful the program was erected around it. Even if Wily did notice the change (which he would, Blues made sure of that) he would merely pass it off as a bout of senility.
He closed down the computer, leaving it humming as calmly as he came, dark wind in a deeper darkness. Moving towards the creature unaware of the changes that had taken place within it, Blues thought briefly that it was just as beautiful as his skillful hand.
Running fingers through long golden locks he gave into the brief urge to place a possessive kiss upon cold lips.
Blues smiled, giving the blonde head another absent minded pet, wondering if he would purr or whimper. “I’ll have to keep an eye on you.” He said softly. Blues didn’t make promises often, but he would always see them through.
