Maybe it wasn’t much for someone making it on their own, but it was enough for her and more than what any of her friends would have saved up themselves. It was only a little but it was enough. And even a little now and a little later would become larger in the long run.

The bankers had gotten over her coming in with what was barely considered pocket change each week. And maybe they understood why she did what she did.

It wasn’t much but one day it’ll be enough. And Orihime could hang on by herself until then.

That's one of the things I like about Orihime. She's so off the wall and random, but she has this earthy maturity about her. Especially in the wake of all that's happened and IS happening to her.
