ajremix: (angst)
Man, where do I even start with this? I had aimed to do another horror thing in the same vein as What Waits in the Dark and, while trying to decide what exactly I should do, remembered the Inquisitor from Red Dwarf while at the same time having one of my favorite Clive Barker stories, Dread, in the back of my mind and decided to mix the two together. It was going to be short, simple and fun to write.

Almost a year and over 23k words later, I've finally bullied out the last of it. It is such a relief to kick this out of my WIP folder. Now complete, I'm linking to my AO3 for ease of reading.

Also this is very likely going to be my last playing around in Destruction-verse. I love these characters dearly and I'm not normally concerned with not adhering to canon (especially in this fandom), but I think I've told all the stories I can with them. I'm sure I'll do more Transformers stuff and Wreckers are never far from my giant alien robot thoughts but for now: after all the torture I've done them, I think they deserve a rest.
