This one was made up because I told a friend of mine I don't like random series just thrown together (i.e. Inu Yasha/Harry Potter or the Sailor Senshi go to Cephiro!). So he wondered what I would consider a 'decent' crossover. And this is what I came up with.
Title: Crossing Professions
Fandom: Bleach/Tokyo Babylon
Rating: PG because Kaien’s got a potty mouth
Word Count: 348
In Response to:
wolf_bite
Characters: Kaien. And Subaru gets one line :P
Summary: A crossover because a friend of mine wondered how I would do one. Other then that, don’t ask because I certainly don’t know^^;;
It wasn’t often Kaien got orders to hunt Hollows in the human world anymore but he was glad when he did. He worried about his skills getting rustY even though everyone else said he was just paranoid.
This particular Hollow had eluded the Soul Society for a while, unable to keep its location for very long. It wasn’t until they learned it could possess living people could they track it.
Kaien didn’t know what had forced it from its current possession but he struggled to keep the thing from fleeing or cleaving him in half. Its nimbleness and wet, slippery hide not making the situation less problematic.
Fed up Kaien pushed the Hollow away and thrust a hand forward, his Demon Arts magically binding the creature. Grinning the vice-captain moved in for the finishing blow when a light blasted the two of them from below, causing Kaien to stagger back under the crackle of energy. The Hollow wailed and, squinting, Kaien could make out the mask coming apart and revealing the face of the person it once was until the light carried her away.
As the Hollow disappeared so too did the light. Disoriented, Kaien looked around and heard: “Who is /that/?”
Turning to the voice there were five people looking at him. An old man with a young woman (father and daughter judging from the resemblance), an adult man with a suit and glasses with clearly marked surprise and a set of twins, one female in outlandish clothes, the other male in a white shifuku. What unnerved Kaien the most was the fact they were looking. Straight. At. Him.
He looked at himself and blanched. Gone was the black hakama and haori, his division’s shield and even his Zanpakutou! He was in his white kimono and at his feet were arcane markings that he found familiar. Then it came to him.
The shifuku. The markings. The light.
“Anou….” Said the sweet faced boy in white. “Are you okay?”
The boy was an onmyouji.
The Hollow possessed people.
And Kaien just got purged.
“Crap.” He said in response.
