This was awesome. I also boggled at Twin Twist at first, but man you pulled it out! Robot zombies!
I also really liked the little burial ceremony the Twin Twist performs at the end - adding little bits of cultural practice like that makes them seem so much more like a 'real' species. Too often other writers forget such things or are (in my opinion) mistakenly focused on the 'robot' aspect and fail to include touches of culture, as if to say that a species of robots would not have any.
