Well, surprise surprise. Slow day at work and no more classes to prepare for for a while. So, to deal with a few more hours of nothing, it's challenge time again (challenges? i do those?)! Let's go ahead and expand what fandoms from what I've usually done in challenges, yes?

Give me a character and/or prompt from:

-Transformers (nominally g1)
-DC comics (jli-era, young justice-era, blue beetle v3, birds of prey are my areas of comfort, though general dcu may work)
-Star Wars (specifically original trilogy, republic commando and clone wars series)

and you'll get a sentence (or... three) in return. You can give up to two prompts at a time. Once your prompts have been fulfilled, you can ask for more.

(x-posted all over the damned place)

JLI: Max, exasperation

Max took one look at his caller ID, grimaced at the number, took a moment to curse the fact that number came up so often he recognized that it was the police department's desk sergeant and then called out, "L-Ron, I'll be out of the office. For the rest of the week."

BB3: Paco, the Zeppo

So, it was decided, the Scarab was Harpo on account of not being able to talk to anyone meaning Jaime was automatically Chico because they were always together; Brenda strong-armed the Groucho name on account of rarely lacking something to say. That left Paco with...

"Don't make me break out the beating stick, we'll see who's unfunny then," he groused.

Space was far, far from empty- but after having to hid from space stations and telescopes and dodging aimless satelites, Cosmos wished it wasn't so full.

The new Autobot detachment thought it was a joke, some weird, elaborate prank the original crew was pulling- either that or they had misheard the names en mass because really, there was absolutely no possible way that these two beaming, friendly mechs could be anything like the most dangerous mechs on the planet.

Until, of course, they witnessed first hand the power of hopeful blue optics...

For some reason, this ended up being in the movie-verse (maybe influenced by your icon)
---
Optimus said it was 'good for relations' and that 'everyone needed to establish a rapport' and 'it's good to expand your experiences'.

None of that, of course, explained why Ironhide had to do these diplomatic, international meetings without his slagging canons.

There's still plenty I want to do in the fandom, it's just a problem of getting the inspiration to do the ideas justice. Or, for pretty much everything I was doing, the time to do it in @__@

But yes- still having fun with it!

Yay! These are fun!

Prowl/Springer - bungee cords

and for sheer randomness

Sandstorm/Starscream - handcuffs

Prowl just gave Springer a 'seriously?' look to which Springer returned with an 'I have no idea why you're looking at me like that' look which only made Prowl's look more disgruntled.

"I hate you," Prowl eventually said, "just so you know."

*laughs* That's fine, I do love both the G1 and the movie Ironhide, and their personalities are similar!

LOL! ZOMG, that's hilarious! Nicely done, and it's good to see you back doing these!

They had big shoes to fill- all of them did (though, in Bart's case, he already had big feet to fill them) and they all knew that what they did wasn't a game, that's peoples lives- and their own -were at risk; but then Kon would make a stupid joke and Bart would make a naive comment in response and Cassie would laugh until she cried and Tim couldn't stop the grin from coming and none of them cared because thogether they were friends first and heroes second.

DCU: Ted Kord, Blue Lantern

The looks he got were dubious, but Ted didn't let it bother him- he didn't let it bother him when he was just a guy jumping around in spandex, he certainly wasn't going to be when he actually had powers -and told them, "If you can laugh, you can hope."

JLI: Max Lord, One Punch

Of all the names Guy could have come up with for the Warrior's specialty mixes, that was a rather odd event to commemorate. It was also, Max mused from his position on the floor, very aptly named.
