Ever since the War of Monster's Fall ended, Xellos had been bored. Very bored. Bored as bored could possibly be and after so many years of boredom, he had to do something and terrorizing the creatures on his Mistress's island was only interesting for so many hours (after that, they learned to run the hell away whenever he was around).
So he went up to his Mistress, knelt with his head low and smile solemn and respectful and made his request.
"And what would you be doing among the humans?" She asked idly, probably just as bored as Xellos had been.
"Creating confusion, chaos, discontent and entertainment."
"I am in need of entertainment..."
"Mistress Xelas, I would do whatever it took to keep you happy."
She looked down at him, as if considering even as her mind were already made up. "Get going, then. Be sure to have a lot of fun." She added with a purr.
