Summary: The Flash goes to investigate Rogue activity in the park.

"I knew you'd be behind this, Snart. Or Mardon. Or... both of you."

The Rogues in question were unimpressed by Flash's powers of deduction and just kept a careful eye out on the crowd gathering around.

Flash coughed, trying to get their attention. "What are you up to?"

"Loitering," Len drawled, not missing a beat.

"I mean why is there an ice rink in the middle of the park?"

"Because it would block traffic in the street."

"And the reason the two of you made an ice rink is...?"

"Ice rinks don't spontaneously make themselves in late June."

Flash shot a glare at Mark who was very audibly enjoying Len's honest but extremely unhelpful answers. Flash visibly repressed a sigh as he tried to come up with a question that would get him an answer he wanted. Something in his periphery promptly distracted him. "Hey- Hartley isn't one of yours anymore! You can't kidnap him!"

Len rolled his eyes. "How fortunate we didn't as that would breach the terms of our deal."

"Then what's he doing over there with Rory?"

"Setting up the sound system."

"For what?"

"To play music."

"Do you work to be this insufferable or does it just happen naturally?" Flash took a moment to glare at Mark. "I'm glad you're being entertained."

Between snickers, Mark said, "Next time I'm recording this."

"But really- why did you guys make a skating rink in a park in June with a sound system? It doesn't seem nefarious enough for the Rogues."

Before a comment- snarky or otherwise -could be made, there was a squealed, "Lenny!" and suddenly Lisa collided with Len's back. He turned just enough to sling an arm around her waist as she beamed at him like a child on their first trip to Disneyland. "Did you really have all this set up for me?"

Len smiled at her in a way no one would believe Captain Cold capable of. "Happy birthday, sis."

Flash looked bewildered. "It's your birthday? Oh, I didn't- happy birthday!"

She gave him a playful grin, "Thank you, Flash! You're so sweet!"

Flash looked even more bewildered as he obviously wondered if wishing a known criminal a happy birthday was something heroes did.

"I'm guessing," Lisa said to her brother, "that since you went through the trouble of making a rink, you also just happen to have a pair of ice skates in my size on hand."

He smiled indulgently. "As a matter of coincidence..."

"Ta-da!" Shawna poofed before the siblings, holding elegant black ice skates with gold blades.

Lisa gasped. "Oh my god- Lenny, they're gorgeous!"

"The Rogues all pitched in for them, of course we wouldn't get you anything less than top of the line."

"Thank you!" Lisa hugged Shawna tightly

"Anything for you, girl! When you're ready, me and Axel will help get you set at the bench down that way."

Shawna poofed away as Lisa threw her arms around Len again. "You're the best, Lenny!"

"I know," he said smugly.

"And Mark- the ice looks absolutely perfect. Thank you!"

"Only the best for you," Mark said with a rakish grin and wink. Lisa gave a coquettish laugh. Len did not share her amusement.

Wilting under Len's cool, unrelenting stare, Mark mumbled an excuse or other to skitter away. Lisa snorted, "Honestly, Len. He's harmless even if he wasn't scared of you or Mick." That startled an incredulous laugh out of Flash.

"You know my rules about relationships in my crew."

She gave him a look, lips twisting momentarily before lifting a hand like she was brushing the mood away. "It's my birthday and I'm going to enjoy your gift so I won't point out your hypocrisy. But you're also giving me songbird's number."

Len's expression twisted like he was debating if he'd agree or not. Before he could make a decision, a voice boomed out, "There's Goldie!" Lisa's grin reappeared as Mick wrapped an arm around her and kissed her hair. "Happy birthday, baby girl! Everything's ready for you to hit the ice. Think you remember that tango routine?"

She scoffed. "I remember all my routines, but I can do that one. I know it's your favorite." Lisa patted Mick's broad chest, giving him and Len- even Flash -another excited smile before going off to where Shawna was holding her skates. Axel's arms were covered in various hair accessories for Lisa to pull her hair back with.

Flash watched the two men watch her go with identical, almost soft smiles. "You, uh," he said haltingly, trying to feel out if his presence was about to become unwelcome, "really go all out for her, don't you?"

"Is it weird to want to spoil the people you care about most?" Mick asked in that deep, deep rumble that shook people to the bone. Flash had to clear his throat before he spoke again.

"Well, I guess if you have the means..." He narrowed his eyes. "About those skates-"

"They're bought legit," Len interrupted. "If you need proof, you'll have to get back to me later. I'm not keeping the receipt anywhere Lisa could be able to see it."

"That expensive?"

"The best things usually are."

The crowd automatically went hush as Lisa skated out into the ice. She did a lap and some warm-ups before taking a position, balanced on the toes of her skates, arms stretched up. She nodded at Hartley. From the speakers came the strum of a Spanish guitar. Once the strums transitioned into a picked melody, Lisa moved. She was all beauty and grace, effortlessly moving over the ice. As the music picked up, she moved from long, elegant movements to quicker ones with fluid twists and spins. She went into a series of three jumps, each more complicated than the last, ending in a long, slow spiral and another dizzying spin. The crowd cheered.

"She's," Flash said like he was surprised he was thinking it, "she's really good. Why isn't she doing this professionally?"

Mick scoffed and Len drawled out, "Asides from the fact she's a criminal? You don't earn a lot from skating competitions which we know because she did those for several years until her ankle got broken bad enough to forced her to retire." Len sneered, never taking his eyes off his sister. "The last gift dear old dad gave her if you don't count bombs in the neck."

Flash winced to himself. "Oh. That sucks."

Mick scoffed against- this time with more laughter at the understatement. Even Len's lips quirked up a bit. "Indeed. But at least she can still skate."

The final spin ended with Lisa on her knees, back arched with her fingertips trailing the ice behind her. Before the last notes of the song faded, the crowd erupted into applause and whistles. Lisa pushed herself back up on her skates, beaming proudly and bowing before her audience. Flash startled when Roy suddenly appeared next to them, holding out another set of skates to Len.

"You skate, too?"

"Yes," there was a distinct teasing note in Len's voice, "though maybe not quite the level of beauty and grace as my sister."

As Len left to switch out his footwear, Mick bellowed out, "Free skate! Get on the ice while you can!"

The crowd murmured for a moment, then a couple brave souls set foot in the rink. When none of the other Rogues so much as even glanced at them, more followed suit. Axel penguin slid on, whooping until he came to a stop almost halfway across the ice. Lisa went to the edge, holding her hand out to Len when he finally went to join her.

Flash eyed Mick who had neither moved nor looked away from the siblings as they skated together, "You're not going out there?"

The larger man grunted, arms crossed. "I may love 'em, but I don't do ice or snow or any of that cold weather crap." Mick eyed him right back though the lack of challenge in his gaze momentarily threw Flash. "Bring your little sidekicks over. They'd probably enjoy a little summer skating."

Flash looked over the happy crowd and smiled, Cisco in his ear telling him they'd pick up Iris and Wally on their way. "Yeah. Maybe I will."

(After, when people started reporting stolen wallets and purses while they were skating, Barry put a hand to his head and wondered why he hadn't seen that coming.)
